Bold stuck on .162 firmware

Real odd one this, dont seem to be able to update my firmware, backed up the handset tonight, wiped the handset with JL_Cmder then downloaded latest firmware from the blackberry site for my carrier (Vodafone)

This should have allowed me to update to .301 however after the phone going through the usual process it says its has the latest firmware on it??

Any thoughts? am i missing something?

Did you install the firmware you downloaded on the PC?

yes, i went into add /remove programs, i left the desktop manager, as it was V5.0, deleted the versions in there and downloaded the new one.

Opened desktop manager and then loaded the new firmware, yet it still shows .162? really odd.
