bold or storm...
hello all...I'm about to upgrade from the 8310 and I'm really leaning toward the bold...storm looks nice but I'm not a fan of the "touch screen age" so I'm just wondering what people think about them (that have used both)...thx for any info

If you are looking for 'cool' factor, buy the Storm. But if you are a serious emailer, the Bold simply blows it away. You can't wail on a touchscreen like the Storm's the way you can on keys like the bold. Not if you like a well spelled email to go out

Would you be using the storm on ATT? If not I would stick with who ever has a cheaper plan and better coverage for you.
If that's not a factor, I would probably go with the bold. More wireless options such as wifi. And an actual keyboard is always nice too.

I'd go with what rfalter said. Especially if you're a serious texter the Storm is not gonna be the phone you're looking for.

i'd go with bold since im not a fan of the touchscreen phones...YET lol, i think touchscreen is pretty cool and all but i honestly think there are usually more disadvantages for them, like storm for example i heard it has a very slow response time...just what i heard and my thoughts

I failed to mention that since you're posting this in the Bold forum section you're probably not gonna get a lot of votes for the Storm.

No love for the Storm here. Bold all the way. My Bold lets me enjoy texting/emailing. Plus I find the Bold to be a much sexier looking device.

Bold is the one for me. I'm not a touch screen fan at all. Bold's keyboard is the best
Keyboard I have ever used. The screen & keyboard are the killer features of the bold.

I'd personally get a Storm, but that's because email and text speed isn't all that important to me. But, the Bold is an amazing device. I've spent more time with the Bold, and I haven't found any problems with it.

I have used both and I love the Bold and not too crazy about the Storm. I used the Storm on OS .65 and .75 still not too crazy about it. I just like having a physical keyboard and that clicking touch screen annoyed the crap out of me. Plus all the dust under the screen was the last straw.

yea i had the storm returned it cause i got tired of the lag and the texting so i went with the curve i would of easily! went with the bold if verzion carried it lol but o well so yea either way i love my curve and the bold would b 10x better so i say BOLD lol

I've used both phones and i would have to def go with the Bold 9000. The storm is a nice device but i can't deal with a touch screen all the time since i text a ton. At first the storm was laggy as can be but once the first update came out it fixed a lot of that. But i still think as an all around phone the Bold wins hands down.

I haven't used either of the phones....but since I got my curve in sept I am hook on blackberry! Lol....and I use to make fun of ppl that had them LOL now I'm hooked! I won't go with anything else now! And again thx for the replies...
