you are on .162. updating your os would help out a lot. .216 is the latest official and can be found in the sticky at the top of thise section. .219 is the latest leaked beta( its not all that good), if you decide to update just follow the directions, dont forget to delete the vendor file and be careful

Have you tired a battery pull? Also hold down alt and press L G L G in the home screen. Menu > Clear log. Give that a go before updating your OS, as I'm on .162 and my bold is certainly not slow

Could you give us a list of exactly what apps you're running? That could help us answer your question a little better as well. I have a feeling you have Facebook....

quick dirty solution would be to do a battery pull. That is a quick cure, but definatly upping the OS wouldn't hurt

deleting the vendor file allows you to upload an os from another carrier to your phone.

i don't understand why other carrier's have updated OS's and the others don't...does anyone know the reason behind that? and would upgrading the OS from some other carrier affect my warranty in anyway??

It's really about what OS the carrier wants to approve. For example, ATT liked .167 initially better than .162 like Rogers liked. It's about what the carrier feels is best.

It voids it, but all you have to do is downgrade back you your carriers OS.
