Default Bold not honoring Daylight Savings Time?

So the other day I was almost late for work because the alarm on my bold didn't go off.

I looked at the clock and it said an hour earlier than it actually was.
In the options, the Date/Time Source was set to Network mode. At the very bottom, you can see the Network time and Date which are correct.

Now why would my phone revert back to the incorrect time when it contradicts the network time setting like I set it to?

    Did anyone have this problem?
As of now, I am manually setting the time and the Date/Time Source is set to Off.

The most common cause of the problem you describe is synching your BB to a PC when BOTH of the following conditions are true:
    1) You have the DM Option to Synch device time to PC time enabled; and,
    2) You have the PC set to the wrong time zone. A common mistake is setting the PC to Central America Time instead of Central Time (US & Canada). Both are GMT-6, but Central America does not observe DST.

You can prevent this problem by setting your time source on your BB to Network and disabling the DM option to synch time to the PC.

It depends on the version of DM you are running. It will be in Synch Options, somewhere. Typically it's a check box.
