Hi to all,
i hope someone can help me. i having this issue with my Blackberry Bold that isn't under warranty so, lets discard (take it to warranty) solution.

my keys "A","Call (Green Phone)" and trackball click stopped working. the trackball works but only to scroll. no response from clicking it. the call key and letter A are also unresponsive to any click. Tried several battery pulls, tried wiping handheld. i remove keypad membrane and cleaned with isopropelen alcohol the motherboard where the gold connectors are. i also replaced the domes of the non working keys, and still no response.

btw, i also upgrade the OS to 5.0
i don't recall exactly what happened before this keys stopped working.
Also it doesn't has water damage.

what other suggestion you may all have?

thats odd.
keys usually malfunction when liquid such as water or coffee slip through the keys and into motherboard. you have to dry the device in a bag full of rice for 24 hours.
but in your case, that does not seem to be the problem. the only likely solution you have is to replace your phone with a new phone.
