Thanks for the inputs, fellow CrackBerry addicts. I showed her the link to this message board and right away she was convinced. She's going on just over a week with the Bold and has yet to put it down.

yea i would say bold i liked it much better than the fuze

Before I purchased the Bold, it was evaluated, right alongside the Fuze. I almost bought the Fuze. It's a gorgeous phone, but it's slow. One of the things I love most about the Bold is how it's so fast...it's a snappy device. It's quick and powerful. It's more user-friendly, to me.

WM scared me, too. I've read too many horror stories, and seen a couple of friends lament over their WM phones. If you wanna spend a whole lot of time "tweaking" a phone, to make it "do", then the Fuze might be for you.
I'm not into messing with a phone that deep.

i like wm devices but they are like pc's...they crash, run slow at times and the battery life on that phone will be terrible...be prepared to carry a charger with u at all times...i had a charger on me all the time for my touch...
