bold 9000 network connection issue

I have an at&t unlocked blackberry. When I put my tmobile sim in the phone connects to tmobile for a second then trys to reconnect to at&t. Then when it doesnt find at&t it say sos at the top left. I spent an hour on the phone with tmobile but they couldnt help. I dont know what else to do! Please help
