How much bigger/heavier is it with the new battery? Can you feel the difference?

I purchased the Seidio 3500mAh battery for my Bold and I highly recommend it as long as you don't mind an extra 4mm at the back. The battery comes with a replacement battery door as the battery is too think to fit in and still use the original door.
The Seidio door has a nice feeling "rubbery" back which feels pretty good in the hand - but to answer the other question it is noticably heavier that the original battery/door combination.
For day to day use I have the original battery installed - that gives me approx. 1 and a half days use. If I am going away for more than a day I fit the extended battery and can easily get 3 to 4 days out of it of normal use - on a heavy Twitter day(s) the extended battery goes for 2 days minimum. My BlackBerry history:
7100, 8100, 8300, 8310, 9000, 9500, 8900, 9700, 9800, 9780, 9900 - 12-22-2009, 03:46 AM #6

I would like to recommend Megen Power Battery for Bold 9000, it have 3600mAh battery capacity and come with a excellent door.
My Bold 9000 is using this battery, and I must say that it is perfect. As I am a heavy user(a lot of email, text message, wifi, etc.), it works at least 2 days. For normal usage, it will last around A WEEK.
Moreover, the battery door is well designed, I would say that is it even better than the original one. The Leather feel is elegance.
Mugen Power Battery have a good reputation about its quality on Internet. So far I only heard few complaint about them and they will do replacement for them very quick. They offer 1 year warranty for their battery. So you do need to worry abt it. - 12-22-2009, 06:43 AM #7

What kind of holster fits the extended battery? Are there any holsters with magnets to put the phone to sleep available?

I use Seido's extended battery + holster that fits it... love the material and the fact that my battery lasts over 24 hours with heavy abuse of my phone.
