Default Bold 9000 Battery X

I purchased another Bold 9000 off of craigslist. Phone is recongnized by my Computer and the Desktop manager. All it does is have a Black background with a Battery and a red "X" through it. Can someone explain what I need to do to fix this? Thanks!

The 'X' may mean that the battery battery is bad.

I already attempted those steps. There's 2 battery's I'm attempting to use here, But neither of them seem to respond. What happens is, when i start the restore process, once it gets to the Load JVM, it says theres an error trying to connect to the phone and it cannot restore. Suggestions?

1) Do a battery pull

2) WIPE the phone using BBSAK:

http://crackberry.com/blackberry-swi...-v1-6-released

3) Delete all the Blackberry OS on your PC.
Use add/remove programs or
just delete them from the
programs: research-in-motion and
program: common files:research-in-motion
Restart the PC

4) Do another battery pull

5) Follow these directions EXACTLY

6) You might have to do another battery pull

Like the device is recongnized on the computer, but after it gets to the "Reloading JVM" or whatever JVM, it just reboots the phone and it comes up with the no battery symbol

I have the same problem.. When I connect my bold 9000 to the wall charger, the red led light turns on and then a battery with a red x on it shows up! When i connect the phone to my computer, the computer recognizes the phone but i cant access any of my files. It only stays connected for about two minutes then disconnects by itself.. i need help! i bought a brand new battery so the battery has no problem and the repair-man said he doesnt know whats wrong with it... PLEASE HELP!

Hi did anyone ever get to fix this issue. I just pulled out my old 9000 bought a new battery and stuck it in. It loads abit with the blackberry splash screen than the battery with the red X but the loading bar still loads at the bottom up until 3/4 way.

The device is picked up in Apploader but not in BBSAK. I run Windows 7 64-bit and have loaded os on other blackberries 9500 storm and 9700 without issues.

Any help on this one is highly appreciated.
