I just removed the VVM from my .282 installation since it doesn't work anyway and I'll definitely be removing it from this new one also, I don't see the point in it. I also don't see the point in forcing it on us without the option of disabling or removing it (or all of the other worthless AT&T bloat garbage also for that matter).

If this is real and actually happens, it will be great.
From TFA.
"AT&T has approved the BlackBerry Bold Maintenance Release (v4.6.0.508). This release, which provides several enhancements, will become publically available on August 25, 2009 including via OTA.
What's New / What's Changed / What's Launched
A number of enhancements are contained in the Maintenance Release including:
AT&T Visual Voicemail (optional feature)
General handset software optimization and improvements

.508 seems quite a jump from .282, seeing as we've been slowly building up from .167 over the last nine months. No interim versions, and no beta versions were leaked? And 4.6? What happened to 5.0?

Question remains...will AT&T be provisioning VVM on 8/25?
- 08-19-2009, 01:57 PM #24
probably will provision VVM at a monthly fee would be my guess - they don't do nothin' for free.
