It shouldn't take that long to replace the bezel. It should take maybe 15-20 minutes if you are a technical person. I was able to change the bezel, buttons, charging contacts, mesh, etc. in less than 20 minutes but then again I have taken apart many BB's before.

first time taking apart a bb...

took a lot of time getting the meshes off the original bezel.

took about 45 minutes from start to finish.
