Blackberry touchtype 9900

My new blackberry 9900 has been playing me up for a few days, freezing and whatnot. i awoke this morning, and it was turned off, even tho it was on charge, and the red light was slowly blinking. i've removed the battery several times, and nothing, it's still doing the red light thing, and i'm really annoyed. At most, it's 6 weeks old.
