I wonder if anyone can help please. My son has a blackberry bold and it has stopped working 😞 when I try to charge it, the red light stays on longer than usual then goes out, then restarts again. The phone won't switch on and it dose not seem to be taking a charge.... Is it safe to say ..... It's a goner 😳 ? Any advice would be appreciated.

which BlackBerry Bold is it, have you tried pulling the battery for about two minutes and letting it reboot.

Do you have a spare battery you could swap in and try? I'm wondering if the battery is the problem and not the device.

Hi thanks for the reply, it's the first bold the 9000, I have tried a different battery but it won't switch on. As I say, it seems to be getting power but the charging signal is different from before ... The flash of the charging light is prolonged .. Still, not a kick ��

I only wanted wanted to find out why I carnt send attachments , now I find I'm back at schoool. Jeeez , all the probs that come with bb. Can some one tell me whyy I carnt attach please I aint got the time to go through a britanica. Looots of love , newee x
