Blackberry 9000 screen issue after housing change
Hi, I have just changed my housing following a video on youtube and now I have put it all back together again my screen doesn't work. The rest of the phone is working fine and I made sure I followed all of the instructions. Has anyone else had a similar problem or can tell me what to do before I have to pay for a new screen?

Retry it again and check all ribbon/flex cables and see if you didn't have damaged anything while assembling.

Yes, I have done all of that but still no luck, £10 for a new screen isn't that bad, just made worse by the fact that the housing going back because it didn't fit properly
! I'm still puzzled as to why the screen doesn't work though. I have noticed a small vertical crack in the ribbon cable but some of the pins are still connected as I tested them with a multi-meter. Anyone have any ideas?
