Default Black screen with white square box on boot

    Hey everyone,

I'm really hoping you all can point me in the right direction with this problem.

After a long night out, my Bold battery died completely and when I woke up this morning and plugged it in, I was greeted with I get a red LED light for a couple seconds, then a white square box in the middle of a black screen.

    I don't know if it's charging, don't know if it's dead.

Has anyone had this issue before?

    Thanks

Tried to connect it via USB. Would recognize for a second during the red LED time, disconnect, and then reconnect when the white box reappeared, but could never connect using BBSAK or the regular Blackberry loader

Getting further. Now I'm onto the black screen with the battery icon with the red X through it. Does that mean I've just got to charge it at this point?

Sorry for the amature hour questions.
