BB Maps - Dashboard, and hiding callout window

I just switch from Android and I'm trying to get used to BB maps. I read on the forums there is a "dashboard" in BB Maps, but I can't find such an option. How do I turn on the dashboard? (time left, distance, satellites, etc)

Also, there is always a callout window overlayed on the map which is annoying. Can I hide this?

I'm sorry for the duplicate post...I just can't figure out how to delete! (I've search for a button, in edit, etc. but nothing...)
