battery problems

hi.
My battery died few weeks ago, i bought a new one and a new AC charger..
but when this new one is charged almost 85-90% the OS restarts..i tried updating firmware but same problem yet.
any solutions?
fw v5.0.0.822 (package 1385, 5.2.0.76)

If it happens only with the new battery, then you got a bad battery.

Was it a "real" (OEM) battery purchased through an authorized dealer or some cheap knockoff bought on an online auction site?

If you just bought a cheap knockoff mistakenly, I think you need to purchase an authorized one from franchise house.
