Awesome concept is right. Why the US has not used qr codes more, I don't know. Most likely because only our smartphones right now are able to handle this.

Exclamation Drop your QRcode on your homepage

Hi I found an easy api for creating qr codes on your own website scan :

Its the current page link. Just use :

Quote:
<img alt="" src="http://api.qrtag.net/qrcode/200/10/000000/ffffff00/url">
for more info visit Information - QRtag api

Don't have your own website? They offer an free user page connected to a QR code that easily can be exported as pdf. I scanned the code with my mobile and found a mobile friendly version of my fresh created info page.

Scan :

I created it at Create a QRtag -QRtag.net

Cheers!

Is there a setting to be able to read from the computer screen? I've tried multiple barcodes on my pc and to no avail? Is there a thread on how to properly scan something?

If you don't have BBM 5.0 you can always get the ScanLife Bar Code Reader, free on BB App World - BlackBerry App World - ScanLife Barcode Reader

My first run in with the bar codes was on CB when looking for a theme. I liked the theme, saw the barcode and followed the instructions. Here's the site, if interested: http://forums.crackberry.com/f130/fr...9000-a-368157/

I know this is an old thread but I just had to say I've found a weirder QR code.

I bought a Howies t shirt last year and have just realised that odd square pattern on the side is a QR code!

Will scan it when I get home and hope repeated washing hasn't degraded it too much.
