    Default Attachments....

Attachments in email that are mp3, wmv format that i try to open the msg i get is ... "attachment could not be displayed" .. is there an application that can be d/l to help with the displaying of there formats. Is this problem only with attachments as well, if i were to go to a website with a link to a file of that format would i be able to open it ? or does everything have to be converted to a certain format in order to work on the Bold.

Ahh, you downloaded the Gmail application and are trying to open the attachment through that? I'm not sure how (or if at all) that works. I would configure the email address directly on the BlackBerry and have it try to open that way. Or you could configure your blackberry.net address and send the attachment to that address instead.

Aside from the GMail app, did you try saving the attachment to memory before playing it? Or were you trying to play it directly from the email attachment?

    Talking :)

in the actual gmail app the only option is "view attachment" and thats that, from there it opens it and it tell u it cant be displayed. In the configured email inbox it gives me the option to preview or download, which is exactly what i wanted
