Application Memory VANISHING!?!?!?
My application memory keeps dropping! I had 16.0mb or app memory yesterday morning, then last night I had 6.8mb. I turned my phone off at night and when I turned it on this morning I now had 4.2mb of memory. I just checked it now and I have 843.2KB of memory!!! What is going on here? I havent even downloaded any new apps lately either. Is anyone having this problem???

It's called a memory leak. Have you installed any 3rd party apps lately?
Badly developed apps can cause this...among other things. - 07-10-2009, 09:51 AM #4
Be sure to close apps from their respective menus using Close or Exit. As mentioned above, battery pull will reset your memory.

My phone is totally messed up! I have to pull the battery 7X a day because it is running HORRIBLY anyway. There seems to be no fix

Again, badly developed apps can do this. Start removing the apps one-by-one (latest app first) and see if one of them is the culprit.

Don't forget to try upgrading the OS if you are on the original AT&T .167, which is very stingy with memory.
