Application memory
I am not yet a Blackberry owner, but for both work and personal reasons, I will be getting one very soon. I have played with both a Bold and a Tour (to use as a reference for a Bold 2) and I perfer the feel of the original Bold much better. My question tho, is have read several posts on CB that say the RAM is half that of the Bold 2 and other newer models. With the lower amount of RAM approximatly how many games and other applications can an original Bold fully sustain without any usage issues arising?
Thank you in advance for your help. I perfer the original but I would also like the ability to have a number of games and applications. If I must wait for the Bold 2 to be able to do so then I will do so.Last edited by Wgreenjr_81; 10-13-2009 at 10:40 PM.

The original bold has 128 MB ram. I have 14 third party apps, 1 game and 5 third party themes installed. I'm running 5.0.0.238 and my free memory is 36MB after a battery pull...

I also have a Bold and the same amount of data.I start at 29 MB but in 12 hrs I get down to 12 with heavy usage. My advice is to get the Tour if you are gonna install many apps, otherwise Bold is King!
