    Angry Application Memory

I can't load any new programs on my at&t Bold. I have 850 MB of available Device Memory and 5.1 GB of available Media Card storage. But my Application Memory is zero. I went to Browser ~ menu ~ Options ~ Cache Operations and cleared the memories. This gave me 6.5 MB temporarily. Now I am down to 1 MB. When the new Blackberry store opens I will not be able to add any new programs unless I delete some; which I do not wish to do. Any suggestions on how to increase Application Memory? Version 4.6.0.167.

We must overcome the notion that we must be regular... it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre.

    Do a battery pull.

Make sure you're closing applications out completely.

I was having the same problem a few days ago. I did a battery pull and also downloaded quickpull (google that, this app is good). Also downloaded the OS 4.6.0.247 and it's helpin the machine to run faster. That OS is in the sticky, definitely get it.

And also I started being careful about leaving apps open. If you hit alt+return you can see what is open.
Normally, it should only be browser, home page, phone, BB messenger, and messeges. Anything else, if it stays open memory leaks.

I'm still figuring this thing out myself, but I hope this helps you.

You don't need quickpull, just press left alt, right shift, and delete. This will do a restart on your phone.

Press Alt + Escape to see the running applications. If you have any apps other than Browser / BBM / Home / Phone / Messages, close them by choosing the "close" option from the menu ...
