Okay so I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and it is currently on Password Lock, I know the password and change it from time to time but for some reason it WILL NOT let me take if OFF of password lock. Next to the "disable password" option is a little padlock, which I'm assuming is stating that I cant take off the password, but I'm sure there's a way to take it off. If anybody knows anything about this issue or could help me I would REALLY appreciate it, thank you!

Here's how to disable the P/W

1. Enter current PW to start the process
2. Go to Settings/Options/Password
3. When the blue color hilights the "ENABLE" PW click on that and change to "DISABLE."
4. Save your changes

Good Luck! PS there is no way to do this if you don't know the current P/W
