After almost exactly 24 hours
Uncommanded resets: zero
Battery Pull: one (immediately after .185 install to fix corrupted ringtone list). - 11-12-2008, 06:13 PM #3
Mine hasn't reset itself at all. To be fair, I've only had it on for about 8 1/2 hours. But no resets. I did the battery pull right after the install. But no resets

I have not heard of anybody with this issue on any version of the Bold OS. Did it happen on .167? If not, you can always try a different version OS. Maybe its a issue with the device. Me personally.... I would load .167 back on the device and then exchange it. I highly doubt its the .185 OS - 11-12-2008, 07:58 PM #10
Well I don't have a Bold, but for what it's worth, my 8100 reset itself probably about 15 times after the OS update. I don't know why, but I just left it plugged in to the charger overnight and by morning it had stopped resetting.
It would basically boot up to the home screen, connect to the network, then about 5 seconds later reset by itself. I tried pulling the battery but the cycle still continued. For some reason it eventually stopped on its own. - 11-12-2008, 08:50 PM #11
No random resets. I am getting a NullPointerException when I soft reset. It started when I updated Docs to Go to version 1.005.

Mine kept randomly resetting for like 2 days after I "upgraded", so the other day I downgraded back to .162.
