ADDING JAPANESE (OR OTHER EAST ASIA LANGUAGE) TO .147 or .150?
I was able to modify my CLK.alx file for my .126 and .144 by erasing the line:
<hidden JPN_Input="True">true</hidden>
and then it allowed me to select Japanese Character Support on my next update with the Desltop Manager...
However, in .147 or .150 I can't find the CLK.alk file in the loader files for either OS, and when I copied the modified CLK.alx file from the .126 or .144 into the loader files it doesn't have anything pop up!
Thanks! - 09-21-2008, 07:07 PM

The problem has been resolved by Blackberry with the .162 and .167 'jEastAsia' releases.
Check this thread (add web prefix) supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=BlackBerryDeviceSoftware&message. id=2346&jump=true#M2346
Recommend you download the AT&T .167 release (the bottom one - and it must say jEastAsia).
