2issues with Bold9000

hey guys , i have a bold 9000 i bought off of someguy unlocked AT&T but im in canada so im using it on fido, 2 problems i foudn out, 1. Sometimes when i try to type a msg fast, its doesnt type everysingle letter?? (i did change the housing so maybe dust got underthere? or something?) its using an original keyboard (just changed the bezel) but its very annoying like when i try to type a sentance "hey wat u?" when i want to say "hey what's up??"
also when the phone is on 3G network, it will not work it gives me Call Restricted or something , but when i turn it on 2G network it works fine (2G & 3G still has a problem)

im not using a data plan right now, but might get one later, any fixes, suggestions , let me know

Try reloading/updating the os

You need to make sure you are using OS 5.0.0.681, it is the best, no bugs, amazing battery life, good WiFi connectivity, fast....

Download the Operating System from the below link:

Instructions For Installation:

1) Install the *.exe file you just downloaded.
2) Navigate to Computer >>> C: >>> Program Files >>> Common Files >>> Research in Motion >>> Apploader
3) Delete the file named vendor.xml
4) Connect your BlackBerry through the USB port
5) Run loader.exe
