2 Problems that i have with the bold.
Hey guys,
I have two problems with my BOLD,
First one would have to be that sometimes when I SMS it doesn't send right away until I turn off the phone and take the battery out, basically resetting the phone. It just shoes the PENDING time clock.
Second one, just happened yesterday when I put my phone in my jacket pocket for work, and a couple of hours later i went to use it on my break and the phone completely died and the screen was faded and the whole phone was like burning up like it had a fever or something, but when i got home.. charged it and it was fine, but today i was at work and turned it off to save the battery from dying, it completely died
so now im at home charging it and its basically what happened yesterday.
So if anyone can help me out that would be great.
Btw I'm under FIDO and using a Rogers Bold and has been unlocked with an unlock code. Thanks for the help. - 11-12-2008, 10:13 PM #2

Sounds like you have a fudged phone. Exchange it for a new one.

Rogers has an official .162 OS posted here on CB just search the title "4.6.0.162 Rogers" or go higher if you like. You can PM me for some OS links if you need some.
My phone had a bit os a poltergeist thing going on a .125 and .150. At .162 it was solid as a rock and that's when Battery performance improved immensely.

When i downloaded and tried to install/run the 4.6.0.162 OS it said "error reading setup initialization file" ... Getting kinda pissed off at my bold now lol, my curve never had any problems.

I'd upgrade to .185 before exchanging it.
