How do you guys use youtube on your storm2?

In the native browser I just go to youtube.com. Most the video's I watch have a HQ selection. I pick that and the video's are very nice quality. I've tried the app that was on the Storm1 but the video quality sucked. Just use your browser on the phone, works great for me.

Go to Options > Applications and see if it was installed in third party apps. If it's there, delete it. That requires a reboot.

When the phone returrns to life, go to your apps page and hit the BB button. Select Options and set your Download Folder to Downloads.

After all of this hoop jumping, download the app posted earlier in this thread. Allow the download any permissions it's asking for as well.

when i try to play vids from youtube mobile they are terrible quality and when i go to the regular youtube site, i get a message saying that javascript is turned off or i dont have the latest version of flash......i talked to a dude from verizon n he hasnt had any problems with his storm on the regular youtube site so why am i getting this message?

The only way you can view a Youtube video is via a thrird party app or from a browser. Google is not supporting BB Storms.

I can't download the youtube application for blackberry storm, I get a message device not supported - Google Mobile Help


It appears that google is trying to get people to go to droid by not correcting problems with their apps on other better devices.

Not the business model I'd choose.

changed the browser config to IE and I was able to download it just fine
