Windows Live Messenger shows some yahoo contacts

Hi,
I just got my storm and started using windows live messenger. On my desktop version i have @msn,@yahoo,@hotmail contacts but on the blackberry version i only see 2 of my @yahoo contacts and the rest are @hotmail contacts.

does anyone know why this is? i would understand if the mobile version had a limitation to only show @hotmail contacts but the fact that i see 2 of my @yahoo contacts doesnt make much sense.

Looks like you can't use the BB version with anything but Windows Live contacts. If some of your yahoo friends have signed up for Windows Live they will show up (I think). I am fighting the same thing since most of my family aren't using Windows Messenger but Yahoo. There is an option (IM+) but it costs $40 and I don't do enough messaging to make it worthwhile.
