Default Why RIM won't have an option to lock Blackberry Protect?

I am curious if anyone here knows why RIM didn't include a simple password protection for Blackberry Protect app?

Let's say I forget to lock my phone and before it goes in to auto lock someone delete the Blackberry Protect OR turn of the GPS location finder; what's the point of having the app for protection then?

Am I missing something or RIM decided not to have a password lock for the Blackberry Protect? What do you guys think? Should RIM include a password protect or it really doesn't matter for you?

You need to enter your BB ID and password to delete it. This was added a version or 2 ago.

There's nothing sensitive in the app itself. The password protection would need to extend to all the apps that contain the data it backs up - contacts, messages, calendar, etc.
