I had version 1.0 for a short time on my BB 8900. Because it is constantly updating, it sucked my battery dry almost daily. Is this version any better on your battery life? I just look at weather through Viigo, and it meets most of my immediate needs.

Two points - the maps screen lags a bit and the overlay isn't really that readable, at least to me. That said, the one feature I'd really like to see added is driving conditions, preferably in a text format as opposed to mapping - I believe another poster raised this issue as well. With the Beta's ability to add more cities, I can (and have) added cities along a route to get a sense of the driving conditions, but if this was added as an extra feature, I really think this application would be nothing short of perfect. You guys have really outdone yourself and I appreciate the chance to test & contribute to this Beta.

so when should we expect the beta version to test out on the storm 2?

i had issues with my last version of it that the icon on my desktop didn't change but it would in landscape mode so i'm hoping the new version fixes this bug

Im on the tour 9630 (CDMA) Telus Canada.
OS 5.0.0.230

Beta and non beta are installed, both working well, did not need to reboot after the installation.

Looks good guys!

Ditto?? Wondering when will the touchscreen version come out for beta.

Currently I'm using weather bug and wondering if anything will be better than that.

Would love to see the current temperature displayed in the icon. Looks good on my Curve 8900 running OS v5.0.0.411.

Same error here. We are using BES so i'm not sure this is a problem or not. v1.0 works fine.

Afternoon, just downloaded the beta, my phone details are as below:-
Model:- Bold 9000
Firmware:- v5.0.0.411 (Platform 5.2.0.33)
Network:- O2 uk

I've set my home town as Leicester and the weather reporting is pretty spot on and updates the icon on my home screen fine.

Only slight grumble and this has probably got more to do with where i live and not the app itself, i don't get the sunrise and sunset times or hourly & short term forcasts only long term.

Besides that, no problems!

Just downloaded it for my 8100. Looks great so far and works like a charm. I love that you can save multiple cities. Will let you know if there are any problems.

I just downloaded and so far so good, the only thing I have found is that the hourly forecast does not work, either for my city or at all, not sure. I have not had it long enough to check all the features, but I will and if I find anything else I will post what I find.
