Want apps for Amazon, IMDb, the Chive, YouTube, Join the petition

Given the recent support Kevin's Skype Campaign had getting readers to email Skype, I thought we can do the same....

We can email the makers of our Favorite Websites, not just the ones I have listed below.

Its just as simple as a quick blurb to your favorite website, or use my example :

"Hi,

I Love your webpage, but I am actually kinda of insulted that you have put out so many iPhone or Android Apps, but ignored the 100 Million global Blackberry Users. We would like to create a Blackberry App for phones and the Playbook.

Listen up, we have a voice.

Please, give us an App"

use that, or create your own.

My 9810 has a YouTube viewer and the Amazon Kindle app works fine. TheChive.com has a mobile site or you can switch to the full site in the browser. Pics work great, vid is apparently in a format not usable by a BB.

It was the other way around: It was Kevin supporting a user's campain. Not users supporting him.

I do have an Amazon app on my BlackBerry, and have had since 09. It may need to be updated for OS 7 and up, though.

I use the app almost every day to look up comparison prices and such.

I didn't know that about the Amazon App, i just downloading, pretty cool.
And i stand corrected on the Skype campaign.

But mobile sites and viewers are not apps.

I downloaded the YouTube viewer, and i hated it, deleted it the next day, it doesn't even compare to the iPhone app and its nowhere close to what it could be.

IMDb has several apps for iPhone, Android and Windows, why not blackberry? Email them:

I don't know what viewer you DLed. Both my 9800 and 9810 had one pre-installed.

I have no real need for this one. I'd suspect very few others do either.

Nice idea. But I joined Netflix when both services were $8, combined. Soon after, they said they couldn't afford to do that, made it $10 for both. Not quite a year later, they decided that it was time to split DVD and streaming and full $8 apiece. If they had done $8 apiece or $12 for both, I would have stayed. But, since it was obvious that they were more interested in their immediate access to my wallet rather than my long term business, I was one of the millions who quit Netflix.
