every platform is different. Just because an application is free for android doesn't mean that it will be free everywhere. Just like you get Docs to Go for free on BlackBerry but have to buy them for other platforms.
IMO, 3.99 USD is not that much money for a good app. If it's more than you are willing to pay for a forum app, you can always bookmark the forums on your BB browser. I'm sure most have mobile sites. |

Tapatalk isn't free for Android, it's $2.99 (unless you're a thief of course).

Oh my mistake.
Well in that case GetJar pays the dev for it. You should contact them and see if they'll do the same for the BlackBerry version.

Just chiming in here since the other hater thread was locked. I can understand why you can't get updates for free on AppWorld for apps you bought through mobihand. Appworld has it's own licensing system and doesn't know if you are a legal owner of an app you bought elsewhere, so it's not even up to the developer to offer the base app for free. They would then be responsible to provide updates separately as well, as you would not get updates through appworld if purchased elsewhere. People need to chill out. It's 2.99, and it's not a developer's fault that mobihand is stiffing everyone.
I will say that the Android tapatalk is certainly much more attractive as far as the UI goes, but the bb version can do everything just as well.
