Where is the private build download? I participated in the build the first time.

Default Tapatalk for BlackBerry Officially Available (Featuring CrackBerry Forums)

Ok, got it...my bad. I'm not noticing any differences yet.

Well, the "t" works to top the page and I notice the "quotes" are easier to read.

I thought you meant you had added color options for reading

This is still pretty great. I just would prefer white letters and not black, other than that, nadda.

What picture mods did you do?

Thanks again.

Any chance the colour options are coming back? I used to have mine set up as a red/white combo.. now i'm using this grey which I REALLY don't like!

I just looked and I can't find it either. He removed it from the CB store because of the issues with Mobihand.

So... the users of Tapatalk, I hold off buying this app because I read a lot of problems on both App World reviews as well as here. But I can see that the developer has updated the app a lot.

How do you guys find the app? How is the experience compared to browsing the forums on native web browser?

On my 9930, Tapatalk and full CB site in the browser are about the same when it comes to loading speed; Tapatalk automatically formats to the screen whereas the full and mobile CB may need a double-tap to get the word wrap. I had some issues getting around Tapatalk until I got used to it, now I prefer using it to keep up on subscribed threads with the occasional checking new ones and save using the full site for anything that Tapatalk doesn't cover. I rarely experience any errors with the programming, and occasionally it will hang but not very often.

Mostly better for me. Faster typing replies. For some odd reason the native browser for me can have slowed text input. Happens on my 9930 and 9850. Opera Mini does not have that issue but then has an odd way of formatting the reply form.

TapaTalk lays all this out better and is a lot "prettier" in general.

About the only bad things I can say are sometimes I cannot connect to the forums with TapaTalk when I am able to connect using the native browser and Opera. And it is not as easy to tell which forum section you are reading under in TapaTalk. That is, if you select "New Topics" in TapaTalk and choose a thread; nowhere inside the thread does it say what section of the forum you are in. So if someone is asking about an issue with their device and fails to say which device they have, you cannot tell. Whereas on the native browser you can scroll to the page's top and see "BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com > BlackBerry Smartphone Help and Discussion Forums > BlackBerry Bold 9930/9900" for example.

It is no doubt worth the money if you are on here a lot.

For some reason, on vBulletin forums such as crackberry. The tapatalk forum plugin not application has service interruptions and will give some error message or cause general trouble. I'll contact the person on this forum who can modify the plugin to see if a certain change to the plugin can fix the problem.

I'll see if the "XXX" Topics functions can be categorized by section.

Organization of XXX thread functions has been added for the next upcoming update. It looks pretty good. All private build users can download to see the changes.

I just downloaded the latest version. I like everything except for the color. Grey is too dark, is there any way of changing it back to white?
