Slacker works on Storm...

I downloaded and tried slacker.. I like the app and will keep it, I did not
subscribe yet and prob will when my 'other' streaming expires in a month
or so.. I did find that when reception of 'data' ie email / sms etc causes
the player to hic-up... and stop playing. Also the pause / next buttons
are too close... I hit 'pause' no it was 'next' and I'm down a skip..
but over all a few more kinks out and it's all good ...

How does this app affect battery life, My battery life on my storm is already a little shy of the mark, I'd love this app but don't think my battery can handle it.

So how much is it to have? I ran the trial for a bit and deleted it. Is it monthly or 1 time fee?

It's free, you can pay for commercial free unlimited skips, but the version you dl is free.

Thanks for the reply, I'm testing it.

Ok, Why is it while using the BB speakers there is no sound until I hit the volume button? Even when the song ends and the next one begins I have to hit the volume button to hear it?

Is the program built with the use of headphones in mind?

And the songs still end short.

I thought it was mentioned the links above were for the Storm, yes?

I wonder if you pay if the song is complete.

The storm version of slacker has not been released yet. That's why there are 50000 exclamation points in the thread title. This is the free every BB model except the storm version.

It is not a Storm version and the song ending early is a known bug. Just imgine how nice it will be when they come out with a Storm-specific version!
