I am having the same problem having to hit volume to get the next song. Also happens to me with flycast. Any fix for this? It ruins the functionality of a great app

Yes I was able to get around that problem by upgrading the OS to .83 or higher. I had that problem with .75 and .76

everytime i open up the slacker folder it has the autorun and slacker.synclaucner.exe folders, but when i right click and select either 'open' or 'run as administrator' nothing happens. im not sure if i should use auto run or not?

can someone tell me how to make the stations cache?

From your pc, double click the synclauncher.exe icon and the sync app will launch.
Make sure you don't have any firewall/av restrictions on it connecting to the net. I had to change a couple permissions for Kaspersky to let it run.

Thanks, upgraded to .86 and that problem is solved, unfortunately it still cuts off about the last 10 seconds of each song. Bummer. This app will be great when its completed.

Same thing here as well with .86 installed. I don't mind it cuts off as it's still not the official version yet. Pretty awesome application so far.

Despite the problems with skipping songs, 10 second loss at the end of songs and the need to press the volume button at the start of each song (whew!) I still like the program a lot! Hopefully, given time, we will get a version specifically for the Storm.

For me, I am unable to get Slacker Sync to launch at work...at all. But at home, after a reboot of my laptop (same one that I use at work), it runs fine. There is an occasional crash of Slacker Sync, but 2md or 3rd time launching it, it works.

So at work, it must have to do with firewalls, proxies, or port blocking. At home, it works. Try syncing in a different location (i.e. home vs. work).

Has anyone been having issues with the program crashing the phone when it loads up a commercial?

Yep. Mine stops playing after the commercial. The only way I can continue to listen is if I change the station to something else. After awhile of listening this no longer works and I need to shut down the application completely and restart.

I put in the suggested web address... slacker.com/dwls/bb/slackermobile.jad... it took a while to load and once it did said:
The Slacker Radio Application is coming soon for the Blackberry Storm."
Any other ideas on how to get this app?
Right now I have the trial version of BerryTunes and it seems to work well, but it slows down the entire running system of my Storm...
Thanks for helping!!

Default Slacker not working on my Storm

Was really excited to see it finally available ( i had been using it on my PC and loved it), but now that it's installed and not working on my Storm i'm disappointed. I downloaded it and went to launch it right after that (no reboot) and logged in and it worked great. But then i started to read posts here about disabling compatability mode and a battery pull. So i shut down Slacker and did all that and now it doesn't launch. I have uninstalled and re-installed 3x now with the same result. Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
