Awesome - thanks for the heads up.

The version 2.5.2 that was for the Storm worked, but it was obviously not totally compatible.

This one seems much better, at least visually.

I searched for Shazam and received both Shazam and Shazam Encore as a result. Downloaded the free version as I rarely ever use Shazam...it's nice to have once in awhile though.

This was the old Shazam download link - the BB OS 4.7 plus version 2.5.2

I'm not sure if it's updated or not or how to find a newer link as it was found in robinshazam's signature on this forum.

I had free version previously. I just checked My World, and it had moved from Unavailable to Uninstalled. New version is 2.6, weighing in at 1.5MB.

You can find it here: App World - Download Shazam 2.6 (free ver)

Nice catch, Daryl! Thanks for the heads up.

When reset App World this morning to see the new Torch-friendly Lexulous version, I didn't scroll past L in My World. Doh!

Yes it does. I just tagged 10 songs playing at normal listening volume on my
television from my couch seven feet away.

Further testing for Torch users:

Citgo station with 8 bays: Tagged the song playing in the car in the bay next to me.
Tagged the song playing from the PA system (after the other car left.)

Price Chopper supermarket: Tagged three songs playing from the overhead
speaker system. (Had to explain to a couple of people why I was "Statue of
Libertying" my phone )

All succeeded. Very impressive app. And phone

I am a little gun shy as I also show it in unistalled. The last time that I re-installed an app from this category in My World. I had to do a restore from a DM backup.
