I am sort of a newbie. I downloaded
QL...my first purchase. I was able to add stuff and all but was depressed as I couldn't get the convenience key to function properly. It wasn't going to QL. Then....DOH.....I realized I had to go into Options and assign QL to the conv key I wanted. Ok...much better now.
Question.....where do you folks usually put your apps. Do you push them all into your app folder and try and make your home screen as clean as possible?

Let me reask my question(s) this way:
1) Knowing how you use QL, how do you choose to organize the apps/launchers/etc on the home screen area and/or the sub folders/screens?
2) How do you tend to organize QL? Do you try and shunt everything into a submenu (if you have tons of stuff) or do you just put all your most used stuff top level and then possibly use submenus?
I am trying to set this up while I am still learning the Tour (my first BB). Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Feel free to email or PM me if you prefer.
Jeff

I'm finding that I am trying to dump too much into it at this stage of the game. I need to find out more about how I like using the device over the first couple of weeks......
For now, I feel like I will only add a few things that I know I will frequent and use often. For instance...Bluetooth. I like to leave it off to save battery. But I turn it on in the morning to pair with my speakerphone in the car.
For now, I'll go simple.

I finally decided to get this app, and I love it. I do have 2 questions. Any way to make Yahoo IM available thru QL? And what about the SMS icon? I know that you can launch messages thru this app, but my messages and sms i prefer to keep separate.
Thanks.

Thanks. | Don't think yahoo IM is able to be added although don't use it so can't be sure.
As far as the messages/SMS question... The messages shortcut will launch either SMS inbox or messages inbox, depending on which one you have used last. This is a limitation placed by RIM so it isn't possible to have a seperate SMS and messges launcher.

| | Quick Launch Locks when using Bluetooth Toggle
I am running QL v2.12.2 on my Storm which is running 4.7.0.167. I noticed that there is a Bluetooth Toggle feature available, which I thought was more convienient than the Bluetooth Config item I was running to switch Bluetooth on and off. However, when ever I select Bluetooth Toggle, it doesn't toggle and seems to lock up the QL app on my phone, requireing a battery pull.
I have the parameters set to 5,2 based on my particular settings. I've attached the screen shots of my menu settings. I also tried 5,1 just incase the Lock Screen menu item doesn't count.
Any thoughts? I'd love to use this feature.

| | QL v2.12.2 on 5.0.0.230
I decided to purchase this app to take advantage of the special (thank you very much!). Plus, I needed something to do reset, since quickpull isn't working too good on 5.0.
So far, I'm very happy with the app and I'm glad to have purchased it. I was able to remove a number of apps, because the features are built into QL.
I did have one problem and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something that I was doing. I removed my old Screen Capture app, Zonasnap, before installing QL. Does QL, have it's own screen capture app built in or require another program in order to function? When I tried to do a screen capture from QL, the screen goes white and the Storm becomes unresponsive. I can hold down the BBmenu key to switch between apps, but QL stays running and I can't switch to it. I had to do a battery pull in order to use QL again.
All of the Permissions are set to allow except for "Security Timer Reset", which is grayed out. Can anyone help me get this working?
