problem with app world

hello all i just got the us cellular curve 9330 and got a i con that i needed to upgrade like 5 of my apps i did that and did the reboot as it said i had too. Now it has the dot on app world and the icon at the top of the home screen with a 3 like i have 3 apps that need to be upgraded and when i go to app world it says all apps are up to date. Does anyone else have this issue and what can i do to correct this i uninstalled app world and reinstalled it and it still does this says i have 3 apps that need to be updated but they are all up to date.

Open up your messages folder and delete the ones that are from appworld and the icon will go away
