Yeah, the issue isn't really that an email comes in, but rather that the two players (the one playing the message notification tone and the one playing the podcast) clash and the message notification takes priority, stopping the podtrapper one. I have a way to fix it, but it involves keeping track of whether an action was initiated by the user or not, which gets complicated. Some OS versions allow the two players to play at the same time, so the podcasts continues playing and you also hear the message notification, but some (most?) don't.

At any rate, like you discovered, vibrate works fine

When i try to delete a podcast, it gets stuck in the this endless loop where the screen says "deleting episodes". It never actually deletes the podcasts and i can't get out of this screen without doing a battery pull.

Hi DipRip,

That's actually a bug I've been trying to narrow down. It appears that somehow Podtrapper stops being able to create new threads. I'm definitely working on it, but haven't found the cause yet (probably a garbage collection issue somewhere).

I was under the impression, though, that it happened very infrequently. Are you seeing it happen a lot? If so I may need to bump the priority on it.

i have to manually delete each individual podcast instead of deleting the whole podcast or using the delete prior function. If i don't manually delete each individual one, then i will get stuck in that "deleting episodes" loop.

Thanks, I take a look at why it may be doing that (this is different than the issue I was talking about earlier.)

"So, right now, (from what I hear) the UI on the storm for podtrapper is horrible, so sorry for that one, but it will be fixed eventually, I promise."

yes, Podtrapper sucks for the storm as its very difficult to navigate on the touch screen. A storm specific Podtrapper would be awesome as its a very cool thing!

Default Should be fixed

This shouldn't be an issue anymore, if it is it's likely because compatibility mode is turned on. Check out this page for details:
PodTrapper on Storm - Versatile Monkey Wiki

Let me know if it has any problems.

Thanks marcus,
I think this will make a huge difference.
I just switched off compatibility mode and I like the way the screen looks. Unfortunately the main screen shows file playback at the top and waiting for downloads at the bottom. How do I navigate back to the home page and view availabel podcasts? do I need to adjust more settings. My apologies for being a noob and thanks in advance.
