thanks!

I've been using this app for the past few hours, and I must say, it completely blows TwitterBerry out of the water. With that list of upcoming features it sounds even better.
One request though - the ability to use the WiFi interface if available. I am frequently surrounded by it and would like to cut down on my data usage, not to mention the possibility of network issues (don't we all love AT&T?).

- Add DMs
- Add View friends
- Add search
- MUST add BIS support
- Support built-in GPS as option
- Select pics already on device
- Bug to fix - Fonts not resetting on change (need to exit now)
- Add shortcuts - T tweet, some key to refresh
- Add thumbnails of pics attached to tweets in the timeline, either from twitpic, or from UberTwitter
- View persons timeline by typing in twitter name
- Add 'mentions' to timeline, perhaps as option
- Visual indicator that app is running
- Different indicator on home screen for new tweets, vice replys, vice DMs received
- Fix all bugs!!
Again, thanks for the feedback, we ARE listening.
-CodeWarden | Very good. Definitely twitpic pics in the tweets, clicking weblinks for them is a pain. Also pics of device to upload. I know socialscope puts a menu option so when youre in the photoviewer you can just hit menu and one click to upload to a tweet.
These fixes will definitely take it above SocialScope IMO. Also the lil bug of fonts overlapping. Definitely longer refresh, have no need to refresh every 30 min. Id say add in 1 hour, 2 hours, and manual.

Best twitter app yet...
looks like you guy are already working on fixes that im interested in.. but just to add more "vote"
Id really like the ability to show pix within the stream and being able to choose which host... i like twipic.
Some problems...
twice now ive had problems where it would stop uploading pix at about 95% and the app would freeze forcing a battery pull.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, there's a lot here. There doesn't seem to be a twitterberry-esq 'send to TB' option for selecting images from the device already there...ie: an option to use photos already there, rather than 'take a photo'...have I missed it?
Also, is there an option to receive updates manually? I don't always need to have the updates come to me all the time, especially when I am at home (which is most of the time at the moment)....ta.

Second answer, no but I know for sure I read that this is going to be a fix and an option in the future...I also would like this...I don't leave mine running in the background so the regular updates aren't needed here...
BTW, just an FYI, you can email the pic to your TwitPic account and the subject line will be the text of your tweet.

-CodeWarden | oooh very good.. don't forget to think about adding the ability to add a follower (like to be able to type in a name of someone you want to follow)! I mean... please?

It's not running a marathon to buy an ice cream but it's annoying when there's such a good interface for everything else.
Also: is UberTwitter a battery drain - I've only had it on a little while and it may just be a co=incidence that my battery was headed down anyway and I hadn't noticed..

Right now I have it set to update every 30 minutes, I've gone in at different times during the day to check, checked half a dozen emails, talked on the phone and gone online a few times and after 5 hours I'm sitting at 90% battery. Not bad.
On a different note...
I do have to say that I really like how it "remembers" your place so that when it refreshes, it starts where you left off. And I like how it keeps track of more tweets than twibble... on twibble when I'd go through my tweets in the morning, I wouldn't get even half of what I missed while I was asleep.
As I said on twitter... if they added DMs to the timeline, I'd officially delete twibble. There are other things too (the ability to add followers and maybe a search, a list of my followers... and manual/longer refresh). But right now I'm loving uber... and socialscope should learn from them... the fact that socialscope made it sooo hard to get an invite has turned me off of them.
But maybe that's just me.

But maybe that's just me. | I mostly agree... two differing approaches. If Social Scope means to charge, it makes sense, but if it is a free app, why make it so exclusive? To create buzz?

- Save
Go back and open UberTwitter, verify in the options wizard that the network options are set to 'Auto'.
Things should work now. If not, please turn off, pull battery, turn back on.
Please let me know if this works! As I'd like to pass this on to the other T-Mobile users. | I had gotten the Network Exception error multiple times. I finally found this post and tried it and it immediately worked after that.
So far I seem to like the app. I especially love the fact that I can see my mentions on the app since twitterberry doesn't have that option. The layout seems more sleek and clean. I like being able to see people's profiles below their tweets but sucks that there isn't a follow option(yet i hope) for people not already following.
The location update is pretty cool cuz I can find other people who tweet near me.
Overall, I think it has better features than Twitterberry but still keeping the app for a couple more days just in case. Really hopeful though.

Man this app has SO much potential... Haha I'm just so amazed at how fast it is and how much easier it is to view tweets than TwitterBerry
