OK, now I'm mad. FB app needs to be fixed!!!

There's a girl I kind of like. Really wanted to do something last night and get out of the house. Put out an invite to do something last night as I really needed some "me" time (full-time newly single dad). Got nothing all day. Checked FB tonight from my PC. Not only did the girl I kind of like message me, but another one too! Last night! Now I'm mad!!! . LOL. Even when I went into the messages area with the app, it still showed nothing.

This really needs to be fixed. My social life is now suffering! Hahaha

Your phone comes with a really cool app that by-passes Facebook for situations like these.

To use it:
Press the green, phone looking button, on the far left side of the phone. Once the app opens, enter in a 10 digit number that the cute girl supplied you (if you don't know the 10 digit number, then she either doesn't like you or you haven't asked her for it yet). After entering in the 10 digit number, press the green, phone looking icon/button again. Finally, put it up to your ear and listen for the ringing (you sometimes here this sound at work or in offices). If this girl actually likes you, then you'll here her voice before the ringing stops. When you hear her voice, TALK to her! Maybe ask her how her day was, see if she would like some McDonalds for dinner (your treat), or see if she wants to come over and watch some x-rated movies with you. The choice is yours once you hear her voice...

I wish more people knew about this fantastic app that comes on every BlackBerry phone...

Haha. Yeah, I have her number. But really was just putting out there an open invite to all my friends to do something. And I'm fully aware of the silliness of it all. However, it IS frustrating when an app fails to deliver what it promises.

And funny enough, on Friday I DID ask another girl to come over to "drink some wine, watch some porn and have sex". Found out the next day she thought I was joking, and she got pissed when she found out I was serious. Apparently she was down. Oh, well. Raincheck.

The Facebook app notifications for private messages haven't worked for me on the past few releases. I installed the facebook messenger app (I think it's put our by facebook I'm not sure) and it notifies me of every private and chat message I receive right away. Its solved my problem. I still use the app but only to update statuses and just see what people are up too.

To be honest this is a joke. RIM have released I think three versions now in which this doesn't work. Is it really that difficult to talk to Facebook and get the right settings necessary to make this work.

I'm well aware that there is the option on Facebook messenger application but why should you need to have two apps installed to do the job of the OFFICIAL apply developed by RIM? Get working on this, there is a messages section in the app so code it correct so it works.
