Default Nimbuzz won't sign in
Anyone else having this problem? it just sits there at 'signing in' forever.....

I honestly think its a Verizon problem. BeeJive and Pandora won't work for me. Try your other applications and see how they work.

it's a OS problem... on my 9700 when i tried to use any other version but .405 (being the only working one) it wouldn't sign in...

i have gotten facebook,myspace,yahoo, and msn all to sign in using it on my tour with Verizon

AIM however will not work no big deal...i only use it for the facebook chat anyways the rest were to test

Mine was fine, and then I updated my OS to .423 today and now it won't sign in. I've tried deleting the app an downloading from appworld and from the Nimbuzz website. All my other apps are working fine as far as I know.

I'm on Rogers.

Nimbuzz does not support OS 5.0 at this time. I sent them an email and finally got a response back saying they are "working on it". They suggested I downgrade my OS to 4.6, however I have a 9700 (which comes pre-loaded with 5.0), so that suggestion is pretty useless.

ugh o well ... thanks for the info.

i was runnign just fine on my tour .230 but once i upgraded to .419 it died...

It's not true that it doesn't support OS 5.0. I have a 9700, and it worked on my stock Rogers OS, I think that was .305. I updated to .423 last night, and now it doesn't work.

Will not work with .423, i tried cutting the .cod frile from .405 and install them to the new OS, nothing...

tired pasting the .cod files into the actual OS nothing...

downgraded to .405 worked like a charm..

i bet Opera Mini 4.2, and vodafone update doesnt work like it should.

Mine hasn't worked in over 2 weeks and they keep saying they are working on it. Also suggested I downgrade OS but who really wants to do that?

Ya, since .419 update lost it as well, sure do miss it hopefully it gets fixed soon, love it but surely not worth a downgrade!

Is it really an "upgrade" if it disables or prevents former applications, that were working good and not are not working correctly?

I'm on .419 and just dl'ed it. I'm new to the NimBuzz family, but if it calls for a downgrade to OS 4.7, I'm not for it. I just rebooted, am making sure my permissions are set correctly, and will keep you posted.

***Rec'd sign-in error msg upon reboot. I'm removing it & stickin w/Vodafone - my IM is limited to Facebook & Twitter anyway.

Does vodafone let u use facebool chat?

And yes to other poster, its still an upgrade to me, Nimbuzz is the only app that doesn't work and ill live with that till it gets fixed

I use Nimbuzz on Symbian well that is when I can sign in which is only in the mornings and late at night. I think their wifi code doesn't work well. I can always sign in on 3G.

The connection from my BB seems better but also drops occasionally. It's a very nice IM client with great features but their connectivity doesn't seem 100% working yet.
