I started this thread for new NFC news, ideas and help.
For starters, I really like the NFC feature and look forward to new and easier ways to use my Blackberry so I can leave the house with less stuff on me. At the moment I have three NFC tags setup, more soon.
I've opened a bank account which uses the sticky pay tags for non NFC phones, I ask them how do I set my NFC phone up without the tags & just get a puzzled look. Has anyone had a better answer or know if / when we are able to do this ?
Also public transport, our buses have NFC for the old folks bus passes...call the bus station & say "NFC" and get a puzzled verbal "errghhh ???"
And lastly, O2 wallet. I read, watched videos and read more. They hint that it will be able to make small payments via NFC but the app in app world doesn't confirm it ??? Now im puzzled.
Oh lastlly, lastly, Starbucks have NFC payments but have taken their app from app world
So if anyone can add or has experienced NFC use (not just payments) hopefully we can get this new nfc thread going.
