New Free App: Kenny Powers

When someone first asked me to make a “Kenny Powers” app, I honestly had no idea what or who that was, but I was intrigued by the number of people asking for it. So I found out Kenny Powers is the main character in the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down, and let me tell you, its frigan hilarious. HBO hasn’t done much since the Sopranos worth watching, but this show really does rock.

This app is a soundboard type app, similiar to my Thats What She Said app, but different, this app is more of a soundboard as in you can choose specific quotes from specific episodes, instead of random quotes like TWSS. Also, in order to maximize the number of quotes I could use, I only used one wallpaper in portrait only. There were even more clips I wanted to use, but didnt want this app to get huge.

Features:

* 30 Kenny Powers sound clips
* The ability to choose specific clips
* The clips are seperated into 3 groups. (Episodes 1 & 2, 3&4, 5&6)
* New ability to check and download new versions.
* Works on all Storm OS versions including .75
* Volume adjustable using the device volume keys

Instructions:

* Swipe left and right to change quotes
* Swipe up and down to change episodes
* Click the screen to play the quote
* Press device volume up and down to change volume

This app has foul and vulgar language, and adult themes. Then again, what did you expect from Kenny F$#!ING Powers?!?!?

Currently this app is for the Storm only, but if you want it made for your device, be sure to leave a comment, if there is enough demand, I might make a non-touchscreen version.

someone said the sound wasnt working for them on .75, this might be a fluke, or maybe i forgot the code to make it work on .75. if that is the case i will fix it this afternoon, i gotta sleep now been up all night coding.

If possible, please port this to the 8900 Curve. I am a huge, HUGE fan of this show, and I can't wait until it returns in 2010.

Good work. I'm running .122 and the sound only comes out the speaker, the headphones don't seem to work. Anyone else having this issue?

I have .75 and have no sound. Click screen and nothing happens. Thank you for making this though. I'm glad to know i'm not the only one out there that knows about Kenny Powers.
