New App: StormSlider (iPhone style lock / unlock)

Hey just upgraded to the 3.5.6 and now cant get the key pad to come up when you place your finger in the center of bb icon.also changed the tap/hover/sen. to 100/100/6.....what is up?

The password feature was removed from the free version, however it is new and improved in the paid version.

I just bought the full version. Pretty sick little app. Some comments (sorry if it was already mentioned): When entering password is there a way to get a visual/audio confirmation when clicking the numbers (even when you slide the button all the way). It doesn't have to have the same iPhone sounds, just something would be pretty neat =). Also an option for changing the background would be neat as well.

Do prompts come up on top of the app (calendar appointments, alarms.. etc)? Or do I have to unlock to see them?

i want to buy this but.. i just bought PatternLock so i dont think there would be any point. did the "slider" improve in the new update, meaning is it equivalent to the smoothness of the iphones slider?

Hi! Great app!

using the bb "Lock" app, the Slider kicks in, which is definitely great.

However, a screenpress brings up the slider. When I put the bb in my pocket, screenpresses activate the screen and burns battery time. Before I installed the slider, if the storm was locked, a hardbutton had to be pressed to activate the screen. Would like to see that come back.

Additionally, the alarm clock doesn't alarm through the Slider. The alarm app showed up overtop of the slider with 'snooze' and 'dismiss', and pressing dismiss did work correctly, however there was no sound.... no alarm.

Just bought this after using pattern lock and this is so much neater and is now smoother than before. +1 to the visual or sound alert when typing in password

I have the paid ver. I did the update that came out this morning and after the reboot the phone wanted to change permissions. I allowed it and phone froze. Did a bat pull and after it got to 100% verif security it froze again. I had to use DM to removed device. once removed my phone works fine.. Will look for next update and I will try it again. Thanks

hhmmm, is the icon really needed since now all we have to do is press the lock button? Works just as nice as when it was on the left key, only now I have a free key to add something to woohoo!!!

+1 nope. just use the lock key you always have and free up a convenience key.

I had this same problem last night with 3.5.1 and 3.5.3

since I changed the permissions when downloading the above versions, I wanst sure what I did so I restored my phone to a backup that I had on DM and then DL 3.5.6

Now the app works great!!
