New App: StormSlider (iPhone style lock / unlock)

very nice, clean looking app dmg...just like the iPhone's lock. As always though, it's really a shame that we aren't able to bypass the red end button/green send button and that there's no way to set it to be the default lock. Maybe someday that ability will be there? You never know!

EDIT: Is there a way to make the words "slide to unlock" animate and show the constant moving reflection/shine of light inside of them like the iPhone's?? (Sorry if this was asked already, but I have to get to bed and cannot read the 8 pages right now)

Also, like I saw someone ask on page one, to have some sort of lightning bolt/storm picture (a hi-def one) instead of the Earth..or even for the user to be able to customize the wallpaper...are either of those possible?

So best way to trick people with this app is to have a iphone theme which when you press the actual lock button shows the globe and slide to unlock....

so before you do that, open Stormslider, then lock the phone with the lock button and tell someone(presumabley iphone geeks)to unlock by pressing the top button and wallah they will have to slide to unlock once they press that button!

I just downloaded this app last night. My issue may have already been mentioned, but I think the clock needs some tweaking. After midnite aka 12:01AM it would display as 00:01 AM, and then this morning when I woke up at 6:35AM the time was totally off it said 00:17 AM. I'm sure DMG can fix this, otherwise the app is great.

Dmg, you keep coming up with these, RIM will charge you $200 to get on the app store (that's the charge for hosting twenty isn't it?).
Fantastic - the Storm is the most tactile device I've had - don't need an excuse to keep it in my hands as it is, but these things make the addiction worse!

Great app! Although, I noticed one error... The time, instead of saying "9:02AM" it says "9:0AM". Also, when it goes above 2, it has "9:3AM" instead of "9:03AM"...

Yeah I charging for apps, but spending 10+ hours a day coding apps and getting 2$ kind of sucks lol.

There's nothing like a free app - but then again, your apps aren't like most free apps that I've seen, they're polished and they work. Compared to a lot of what is being charged for, you've been helping us make out like bandits. With all the work that you've done, you should feel free to start making some dough directly from your labours.
