I wonder if RIM will start giving developers more options soon. This lock down of everything is getting kind of old.

I wouldn't plan on it. Although these limitations seem kind of crappy they do it for your protection. If I could lock down the phone completely , what's stopping me from locking you out of your own phone? I could set the app to start on startup and make it so you can never exit it.

Not to be a ****, but I don't really see the point of this app seeing that once you slide, you still have to press the lock button on the top of your phone to unlock. Am I missing something?

Ummmm... how about this - don't press the lock button on top of your phone. Instead program one of your convenience keys and "lock" your screen that way instead? Make sense now?

ohhhhhh....hahahahaha

Yeah, that makes alot more sense. I guess having my phone lock when holstered was adding to the confusion. Thank you.

Doesn't storm lock have a function to lock it using storm lock through the top lock button?
