That can happen when you go into options and back out without saving changes. I think this is why a lot of people don't think the app works. Mostly because they opened it but didn't change anything.

I've had the update on my 9530 running .419 since it was released & it ran without any real issues. This week I decided to try out Lyricidal's .451 hybrid. Once I loaded the OS & loaded back all of my apps I noticed that I was using battery power way faster than normal & was also leaking memory way worse than usual. I was even leaking memory on the stock Zen theme. I also got "Uncaught Exception" messages popping up now & then.

I checked SS & all permissions were set to "Allow" & all settings were good. I decided to do what was mentioned over & over in this thread & deleted SS, did a long battery pull, reinstalled SS & did another long battery pull. After that everything was back to normal.

So, if you are having battery and or memory problems a deletion & reinstallation of SS could be a solution.

Until about 10 min ago if I plugged my phone in ss would launch, if I unlocked another screen is there. The clock charging screen that native to the phone. I wanted to disable it.
Now thanks to another thread, when I plug my phone in only the SS charging screen pops up. :-)

I'm clearly speaking about battery life that everyone is complaining about. Besides the Storm 1 not having wifi everything else can cause battery drain. Really hope someone else can help you, I've tried but some people know everything...yet they need answers.

Click the time to get the clock screen, hit the BB button and click on options. Go to "when charging" set it to "do nothing".

No problem, I was happy to rid myself of what I consider a redundant screen.
