Also in the next update you will be able to select up to 3 different zip codes and they will be swappable
I have the program se to update every 15 minutes on the new update and my battery is still as 60% after being used heavily since 8am this morning. With the previous version I was hitting 60% about 3 hours later on the 30 min update interval.

I would say the battery life has greatly improved with this new update.

I'm on 1.2.5. According to my event log it loops itself once per minute. I have the options set to update every 30 mins.

DMG I like the SW app but like so many other "variables" that Storm owners seem to face for me (according to meterberry) it is causing a higher discharge rate on my battery.
If the new SW update is working for the majority of the users then to me the latest update would be considered a success!

Okay I found the problem that some of you are having. I'm testing it out now and will update it shortly. =)

Version 1.2.6 is now out. Everyone should notice a huge difference in battery life now not just some users. You also have the ability to store up to 3 different locations.

Build looks good to me. It appears though when you enter a zipcode 2 it copies the same value to field 3 when you go to add zip 3

Hmm it does I will fix that for the next release. I will wait and see if there is anything else that people find wrong.

And I think the options screen should read "minutes between updates"

Were you still considering allowing the launcher to launch other sites? I'd love to have it launch weather underground even if the temp is from weather.com.

If the listing in the event for a net.rim.tunnel is indication that Simple Weather is reaching out to the internet then it's still (using 1.2.6) doing it every minute. Here's my event log, the "Open", "Stac" and "Clos" occurs every minute

e.g.

20:36:01
20:37:01
20:38:01
20:39:01

Just like clockwork. Here's log file - sorry DMG, but still not quite right (or I'm looking at wrong event info:

FYI - I've changed setting to 15 and 60 minute update, no difference in the number of updates - still every minute.
